Who is AIM Performance Training for?
+
AIM Performance Training serves youth, high school, collegiate, and professional athletes, as well as recreational athletes of all ages who want to improve performance. We also work with individuals returning from injury who need a safe and structured bridge between rehabilitation and full performance, whether that is sport demands or activities of daily living. We offer seasonal group training starting at age 9 and one on one training for athletes ages 12 and up.
How do you assess athletes before starting?
+
We begin with a comprehensive assessment that looks at how you move and perform. This can include movement and biomechanics screening, strength and power testing, speed, agility, and conditioning tests, mobility and stability evaluation, and a review of injury history when applicable. This process allows us to design a tailored performance or reconditioning plan.
How is the training customized to my sport and position?
+
Every program is individualized based on the specific demands of your sport, the requirements of your position, your injury status if you are recovering, as well as your age, training experience, and personal goals.
Do I need to be fully healed before starting?
+
You do not need to be fully healed before starting training. However, you do need medical clearance to begin reconditioning if you are recovering from an injury. From there, we safely progress you from functional movement to full speed performance.
What does reconditioning / return-to-play training include?
+
Depending on the injury and stage of recovery, sessions may include corrective mobility and activation, progressive strength rebuilding, biomechanics and movement retraining, deceleration, landing, and cutting progressions, controlled agility and directional changes, and a gradual return to sprinting, plyometrics, and sport specific skills.

Our 5 Point Performance System

1. Injury Prevention
Address imbalances and weak links so athletes move with better control and reduce the chance of common sport related injuries.

2. Speed And Strength
Develop strength, acceleration, and force production that show up in sprinting, jumping, and winning physical matchups.

3. Performance Deficit Analysis
Identify the specific strength, speed, or movement gaps that limit performance so training can target what matters most.

4. Rotational Power
Improve the mechanics behind throwing, striking, and rotational movements for sports like baseball, softball, tennis, and golf.ame quickness

5. 3D Functional Movement
Use multi plane patterns that reflect real play, improving movement quality in the same directions athletes cut, jump, and land.
Do you work with my physical therapist, doctor, or coach?
+
Yes. We actively collaborate with medical and coaching staffs to ensure safe progression, maintain communication, and align training with sport and rehab goals.
What injuries do you work with?
+
We have experience working with a wide range of sports related injuries and commonly work with ACL and other knee injuries, shoulder and overhead athlete injuries, tendinopathy and overuse injuries, as well as low back pain and lumbopelvic stability issues.
Will this help prevent future injuries?
+
Yes. Our training improves movement mechanics, stability, strength, and force absorption, which helps reduce injury risk while enhancing long term performance.
Do you offer team or group training?
+
Yes. We provide customized group programs for teams, clubs, and organizations, with sport-specific and position-specific focuses.
Do you offer performance testing or data tracking?
+
Absolutely. We use regular assessments, video analysis, and performance metrics (linear progressions, velocity-based training, force plate data, etc.) to track progress and adjust training accordingly.
