Facility Rules & Guidelines
These rules are in place to ensure a safe, respectful, and positive experience for all members and guests at HCI Sports and Fitness.
Age & Supervision
What is the minimum age to use the Fitness Floor, Track, or Strength Center?
Members must be at least 15 years old to use the Fitness Floor, Track, or Strength Center without supervision.
Can children use the fitness areas?
Children ages 10 to 14 may use designated fitness areas only when actively supervised by a legal guardian or coach.
Does a guardian need to remain on site?
Yes. A legal guardian must remain on site at all times when children ages 10 to 14 are using the facility.
Attire & Conduct
Is there a dress code?
Yes. Proper athletic attire is required at all times. This includes a shirt, shorts or appropriate athletic bottoms, and closed toe athletic shoes.
What behavior is expected inside the facility?
All members and guests are expected to treat the facility, staff, coaches, officials, and other participants with respect. Disruptive or unsafe behavior is not permitted.
Equipment & Facility Use
What are the rules for using equipment?
Members must share equipment, re rack weights after use, and clean equipment and spaces before moving on to the next activity.
Are there restrictions on weight use?
Dropping, slamming, or intentionally damaging weights or equipment is not allowed.
Safety & Enforcement
What happens if facility rules are not followed?
Failure to follow facility rules or staff instructions may result in suspension of privileges or termination of membership.

These guidelines help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all members, families, and athletes.
